Trauma-Informed Yoga

Transcending trauma through holistic practices like Yoga is what I am drawn to do. Trauma sensitive Yoga is a tool to heal and a tool to transform experiences, so that veterans (trauma survivors) can move forward with their lives.  Sessions include Yoga,  Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Laughter Yoga and Guided Relaxation.

I teach/lead ten sessions at the Mental Health Unit at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Care Center in North Chicago, Illinois. I volunteer at the Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder Unit, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery  Center and the Military Sexual Trauma Unit.
